How skinny can you get before you have to pull the motor up? I fish shallow bays in texas . Enjoy your content.

How well does that Minn kota keep you spot locked? Think about adding a Minn kota to my Nucanoe Unlimited.
Looks like a nice setup. I’m still very leery of motor-only kayaks. I was in a 19′ Cape Horn about 15 miles out in the gulf (we were on our way to a grouper spot) when the motor started acting up (the prop would spin while idling but not if the motor was going any faster). It took hours to get back and idle speed the entire way (sailboats were outrunning us and i was waiting for one if them to offer to tow us 😂). Anyway, that experience made me ALWAYS want some type of redundant propulsion. So for a kayak, my preference is pedal with a trolling motor.
That’s a nice setup! Just saw the new power assist pedal drives. I’d be wary of all electric trolling motor or paddle but I guess if your pedal drive messes up like it did on your Hobie a few times you’re in the same boat. Up a creek with a paddle!😂
have you ever tried a kaku kayak? i have been looking into them recently wondering if you have ever done anything with them ?

To Hell with registration spacing
I lived on Kauai for 15 years. I had a tandem Hobi kayak. I installed a 145 # thrust trolling motor. My 12 volt battery would keep me on the ocean for 3 hours
Hey brother how you doing man? I like your setup man. I am just like when it come to kayaking! Like it Clean and simple. Brother I do have a question do you know if the pedal on your kayak are wider than the one on the pedal drive PDL one. I was told that the pedal on your kayak are wider than the one on the PDL drive. If you don’t know my i ask a Favor and can you measure your pedal on your kayak for me please. I would really appreciate it cuz i am trying to get one of these kayak i just don’t know which one to get right now because of my Extremely wide feet 🦶 i have. I would appreciate it.
