  1. I really appreciate this video!
You used examples that were large enough to see, so you could follow and understand what you were actually doing,
You explained exactly what you were doing and why you were using the knots in the manner of their usefulness.
Plusyou presented the instructions slow enough so you could visually follow the instructions.
I’ve frequently watched videos where the subject matter was so small it was difficult to see and the speed of the presentation made the instructions almost useless.

Again, thank you for this instructional video.

  2. Thanks for the videos. Regarding the fish-finder rig…will braid main line work? I wonder about the egg weight wearing on the braid. It’s been 30+ years but I’m back in Florida and always appreciate helpful info. 👍

  3. hold up i need to know how youre cathing hogfish on rod and reel, ive always understood that was near impossible lol.

  4. Great Video … a good refresher for me … been out the game a couple of yrs but I’m back now 💪🏾Thanks for the knot Reminder

  5. Hello sir thank you for your video.
I often fish from the edge of the rocks and from the edge of the beach.
Can I fish with the knocker rig?

  6. Try about 20 twists on your chicken rig before pushing the line through the small hole and then synch it down with vaseline or saliva….this greatly strengthens your weak knot…

  7. What weight and rig would you recommend for a channel that ranges from 30-60ft in depth with fairly good current

  8. Awesome rigs and knots!! Thanks for the demonstrations. Can’t wait for the weather to break to try them for myself. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

  9. I didn’t know people targeted hogs with hook and line. Most people here spear them. I’m going to try this.

  10. As a bass fisherman i thought id be learning something new all three are close to a texas rig a carolina rig and a drop shot rig. Awesome video keep it up

  11. Didn’t know it was called a Chicken rig but this what we use to catch the yellowtail out in Bahia de Los Angeles! We use a 16oz sinker we a 5 hook. NEVER FAILS!

  12. A couple of observations, the fish finder rig needs a bead between the swivel and the egg sinker to protect the knot. Also, on the chicken rig, a common mistake that I also saw on your video is that you did not put the bank weight on the correct way. The loop needs to be cinched on top of the weight instead of just around the weight…if you leave it the way you show, it increases the chances of losing that weight because it’s only secured half way.

  13. Like your idea of doing a simple overhand knot on the chicken rig lead weight to slip off if it gets hung up on rocks.
